Job Description:
As an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) specializing in pediatrics, you will play a vital role in helping children reach their full potential. Your work will involve collaborating with licensed Occupational Therapists to develop and implement personalized therapy programs. You will assist in improving children’s motor skills, sensory processing, social interactions, and overall independence.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to assess the needs of pediatric patients.
- Implement and assist in the development of individualized treatment plans.
- Provide hands-on therapy and support during sessions.
- Record and maintain accurate patient records and progress notes.
- Educate and guide families on home exercises and activities.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy programs.
